HOLIDAY HELPERS INITIATIVE
mgardner The St. Luke Baptist Church Women’s Ministry is spear-heading a SERVICE PROJECT for the holidays called the HOLIDAY HELPERS INITIATIVE. We are partnering with the Dorcas House & Our House to provide TOILETRIES & CEREAL for the residents there.
This is an iPhone vs. Android competition. Let’s see whether Team Android or Team Iphone will collect the most items for donation to this worthy cause. This competion and supply drive will run through November 24th.
List of Needed Items
Hygiene Supplies:
- African American hair products
- Body Wash
- Comb/ Hairbrush
- Deodorant
- Manicure sets
- Perfume
- Shampoo & Conditioner
- Soap
- Q-tips
- Used or New Hair Dryer
- Used or New Flat Iron
- Used or New Curling Iron
Non – Hygiene / Supplies:
- Baby Wipers
- Diapers (all sizes)
- Laundry Detergent (regular and free and clear)
- Dishwashing detergent (not for dishwasher)
- Commercial size, heavy duty trash bags 55 gal./ 33 gal./ 13 gal.
- Fabric softener sheets
- Disinfectant spray and wipes
- Paper Towels
- All- purpose cleaner (Pine-sol)
- O.S. PadsPaper products (bowls, cups plates, napkins, etc.)
Non – Perishable Items:
- Cereal
- Breakfast Bars
